Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) successfully concluded its annual Sports Gala with high-energy finals and an inspiring closing ceremony.

The football final featured LUAWMS Green and Shaheen Football Club (Uthal), captivating a large crowd with intense competition. Shaheen Football Club scored first, taking the lead in the first half. LUAWMS Green responded with two goals in the second half, securing a dramatic 2–1 victory.

In cricket, DVM A dominated against Education A. Batting first, Education A posted 154 runs, but DVM A’s Ahmed delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 80 runs off 34 balls. DVM A met the target and won by 8 wickets.

The tug-of-war event saw Agriculture take victory over DVM in another spirited contest.

          The finals were honored by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Illahi Bakhsh Marghzani as Chief Guest, accompanied by Registrar Dr. Balach Rasheed, Dean of English Languages & Literature Dr. Nasir Abbas, university officials, faculty, and a large number of students. The Chief Guest distributed trophies, medals, and shields to winners, commending the athletes for their passion, dedication, and sportsmanship. He thanked the Sports Department, Government of Balochistan, for their generous support and congratulated the organizing team for a successful event.
        

This Sports Gala not only celebrated athletic achievement but also fostered teamwork, resilience, and unity among the student body.
