INTRODUCTION

Veterinary Pharmacologydeals with the actions of the drugs in the animal body. It plays important role in veterinary clinical practices. Drugs in clinical practices considered as the weapons of the veterinarians. In nutshell, it provides information about drugs including pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, side effects, doses, dosage planning, indications, contra indications, and drugs toxicology.

MISSION

Skilled veterinarians with sound knowledge of drugs and medicines application. Awareness to the farmers regarding knowledge and proper application of drugs.

VISION

Strengthening academia and livestock sector of Balochistan through judicial and clinical usage of drugs and medicines for the health of animals.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  1. Uplifting and upgradation of the department for postgraduation degree program.
  2. Agreements and MoUs with Pharmaceutical industries for research support and jointly research and services to livestock community and veterinarians.
  3. Arrangement of seminars, symposiums, workshops, and trainings for veterinarians, students, and farmers for understanding the applications of drugs.
