Department of Finance and Management Sciences

The Department of Finance and Management Sciences is launched by LUAUWMS in 2013 to provide quality education at graduate and post graduate level to the students from all over Pakistan in general and in particular to the students from the far flung areas of Balochistan. At present the department offers a 04 Years (08 Semesters) degree program leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and 2 and 3 years Master of Business Administration (MBA). LUAWMS is keen enhancing and improving the department and very soon would announce PhD program in various field of Finance and Management Sciences. The structure of the course(s) is designed in a way wherein the students should be equipped with in-depth knowledge in variety of areas such as Business, Finance, Banking, Marketing and Human Resource Management (HRM), etc. to gain competitive advantage in the market. The department and the courses which it offers would expose the graduates to complex matters and challenges in managerial and corporate circles and would enable them to overcome such challenges at regional, nation and international levels.

The Department Complements these efforts with research that adds to knowledge, provides solutions to business challenges, and contributes to pedagogical advances.

1. To produce graduates who are well-equipped to function in and adapt to the rapidly changing business environment.
2. To provide an opportunity to the students from the far flung areas of Balochistan to obtain general knowledge in business with a primary focus on imparting quality education in the field of Business, Finance Human Resource Management (HRM) and Banking.
3. To develop management and analytical skills amongst the students while focusing on the current and future trends and needs of the business as well as public and private sectors in Pakistan.
4. To provide the aspiring students a knowledge vis-à-vis the competitive business environment in which both the private and public sectors operate.
5. To ensure and maintain the highest standards of quality in its courses to compete with other business schools in Pakistan while aligning itself with the international standard of education.
6. To make changes in its courses from time to time as per the changing market requirements to ensure a superior job market for its graduates at national and international levels.
