Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS)

Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) and Ehsan Trust have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming a shared commitment to support higher education for meritorious yet financially challenged students.

The MoU was signed by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Elahi Bakhsh Marghzani and General Manager of Ehsan Trust Fayyaz-ur-Rehman Khan. Registrar Dr. Balach Rasheed, Director of Financial Aid Dr. Mohibullah Kakar, Deputy Director Haji Fayyaz Hussain, Marketing Manager Ms. Samina, and other officials were also present.

This partnership aims to strengthen both organizations’ capabilities to enable access to higher education for communities and students admitted on merit at LUAWMS who cannot afford tuition fees and other expenses.

          Ehsan Trust will provide interest-free student loans, ensuring all financial assistance is delivered without interest. In collaboration with Meezan Bank, an awareness session was also held (with Uthal Branch Manager Mr. Naseebullah and staff present), where students were guided on the loan repayment process and the streamlined opening of student accounts—requiring only a national identity card and student card.
        

The founder of Ehsan Trust stated that loans will be processed through Meezan Bank so that students can pursue higher education without facing financial difficulties. Ehsan Trust will support 120 LUAWMS students with interest-free loans on easy terms—helping to reduce financial hardship and enable completion of their degrees.
