LUAWMS and Weihai Vocational College to Strengthen Educational and Technical Cooperation

A delegation from Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Pakistan, led by Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik, Vice Chancellor, visited Weihai Vocational College (WVC), Weihai, China to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore new opportunities for academic, technical, and educational collaboration.

The LUAWMS delegation included Dr. Balach Rasheed (Registrar), Dr. Ahmed Nawaz (Dean), and Dr. Muhsan Ali Kalhoro. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Xu Donghui, President of Weihai Vocational College, and Prof. Tao Weiwei, Vice President, along with senior officials of the institution.

The visit provided a valuable platform for LUAWMS and Weihai Vocational College to explore practical avenues of cooperation in higher education, technical and vocational training, applied research, talent development, and capacity building.

Academic and Technical Cooperation

Following the formal meeting, the Pakistani delegation visited several colleges and teaching facilities across Weihai Vocational College, gaining firsthand insight into the institution's modern approach to technical and vocational education.

The delegation visited the College of Marine Sciences, College of Food Technology, College of Civil Engineering, and departments associated with the shipbuilding and maritime industry.

During the tours, the delegation observed modern teaching laboratories, practical training centres, research facilities, and industry-oriented educational environments. The visits provided an opportunity to learn about innovative technologies, hands-on training methodologies, and vocational education practices designed to prepare students for professional careers.

Knowledge Exchange with Faculty and Students
