Uthal, April 23–24, 2025 — Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, has initiated the End User Training for the SAP ERP system under the Higher Education Development in Pakistan (HEDP) project—one of HEC’s flagship initiatives aimed at digital transformation in the higher education sector.
The two-day training, held at the Smart Classroom in the Directorate of IT, is a milestone in LUAWMS’s ongoing commitment to institutional modernization and technological advancement. The training was led by Project Director Mr. Javed Baloch, with technical support provided by HEDP SAP ERP team members Mr. Haris Ali and Mr. Affan Baig from TMC.
This initiative is designed to strengthen institutional efficiency, transparency, and governance by equipping LUAWMS staff with essential digital competencies and practical experience in SAP ERP modules.
Participants included: Mr. Sher Muhammad (Additional Treasurer), Mr. Shakeel Ahmed (Deputy Treasurer), Mr. Muhammad Yasir (Accountant), Mr. Asif Buzdar (Superintendent Finance), Mr. Ghulam Murtaza (Accountant), and other finance staff.
Participants included: Mr. Yasir Ali Abbass (Director P&D), Mr. Dedag Shah (Deputy Director P&D), and staff from the Planning & Development and Projects departments.
